2 1/2 cups – All purpose flour
2 teaspoons - Ground ginger
1 teaspoon - Ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon - Baking soda
1 teaspoon - Fine sea salt
1 teaspoon - Ground all spice
1/2 teaspoon - Ground cloves
1 cup - Light brown sugar packed
3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons - Canola oil
1/3 cup - Dark molasses
1 Large egg
1/2 cup - Coarse sugar crystals if desired
Whisk together flour, baking soda, and spices (ginger, cinnamon, cloves, all spice).
Mix brown sugar, molasses, oil, and egg.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Scoop, roll in sugar, and bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes
